Hello, I come from Slovenia, a small beautiful and very diverse country with only 2 mio inhabitants. We have Alps, seaside and we can do a lot of winter and summer sports. Capital is Ljubljana which has cca. 350 000 inhabitants.
I grew up in small city, called Jesenice and is in north west of Slovenia. To let you know how small Slovenia is.. I need 30 minutes to Austria, 1 hour to Italy, 45 min to Ljubljana (which is in the center of Slovenia) 2 hours to slovenian cost..Venice is only 3 hours away.. ! This part of Slovenia is known by Bled which is a turist spot nr. 1, Bohinj and Kranjska Gora.
I was a figure skater in Figure skating club Jesenice where I was competitor- national and international. I started skating when I was 7 years old and finished with competitions when I was 20 years old. My coaches were russian- Valeri and Elena Babitcki and then and also their doughter Olga Babitckaja.
My best result- was National Champion in Novice group in 1998. As my personal best result was 2. place in total in competitions of European Criterium and 15 place in Triglav Trophy, ISU competition, the last best result is 2. place in Belgrade, Serbia.
After finishing with competitions I got an offer to perform in Circus on Ice in Madrid and I took a chance and spent 3 months in Madrid in 2004, and 3 weeks in Rome in 2006. I also participated in musical ''Rainbow steps'' in Ljubljana with well known slovenian singer and actor. I also passed an audition for Holiday on ice on March 2007 in Milano and I am expecting to join them in fall 2008.
All this years I am a student of Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. Right now I am spending my last year studying in JIBS (Jönköping International Business School) as a one year-exchange student. I enjoy creating new business ideas, because as a skaters, we have never lack of imagination.
Kind Regards,
Ines
